Staff
The A-Town Throw Down is currently accepting staff applications for:
Teachers, Associate Instructors, and Interns!
Two Workshops One App!
Your application for the 2025 A-Town Throw Down can also double as your application for the 2025 Brawl of America. Our workshops are once again the same weekend, and in discussions of how to make it easier for applicants, we have aligned our needs so you only have to do one application! The main thing is when you submit, be sure to send it to the correct email! If applying to both, send it to both workshops. If only one, just send it to us or the Brawl. It’s that easy! If it says "Brawl Only" in the instructions, that portion is only needed for your Brawl application.

To apply, follow the instructions below:

Positions Available: All

Levels of positions: Instructor, Associate Instructor, Intern

For Instructor positions please only apply if you are a CT, FD, or FM (or equivalent).

Associate Instructors- Assist in classes, and teach one class if desired.
You will be part of our Associate Instructor program if selected. Please contact us if you
would like more details as to what this entails.

Interns- Run armory, airport pick-ups, pair-in in uneven classes, take weapons to their
spaces, etc.

To apply to the A-Town Throw Down, please send an email to atownworkshop@gmail.com with the subject line: “(Your Name) 2025 A-Town application"

Or the Brawl of America to BrawlofAmerica@gmail.com with the subject line:
"[[Your name]] 2025 Brawl application"

Or both!

In the email, please provide the following information:
1. What position(s) you are applying for and a short message about why
you would like to work at the A-Town Throw Down.

2. Your stage combat resume, including any certifications and previous workshop staff experience.

3. How you plan on getting to the workshop (driving/flying, local, etc)

NEW THIS YEAR - We are accepting class proposals via google form submission, rather than via email: forms.gle/Sipd7wvRpS6VXcub6 Each class proposal will require a separate form submission, there is a link after you click submit that will redirect you to start an additional class proposal.
